testpmd supports all DPDK drivers, exposes all of their knobs in its command line: this has been a great tool for developers from dpdk.org origin. But beyond dpdk.org community, I would like to present how testpmd is used for NFV developments, performances characterization, and also for post deployment validation: how it’s done today, what is under addition, and what we need next.
